Stanway SC at the Olympic pool

On 27th September, swimmers from Stanway Swim Club attended a gala at the London Aquatic Centre - it was a fantastic experience for them to swim in a 10 lane 50m pool that was used for the 2012 Olympics although it was a slightly tiring day!!!

Here is a breakdown of PBs, Speed Awards, new Club Records (ages 9-16) and any new County Qualifying times:

Harriet Barnes - 2 PBs and 1 Bronze Speed Award
Molly De Smith - 4 PBs and 2 Gold Speed Awards
Eleanor Durban - 2 PBs and 1 Club Record (12 Years 200m Back)
Louis Dutch - 2 PBs and 1 Platinum Speed Award
Olivia Gowland - 5 PBs and 3 Gold Speed Awards
Dominic Holmes - 3 PBs, 2 Silver Speed Awards and 1 County Time (50m Free)
Marcus Holmes - 1 PB and 1 Platinum Speed Award 
Lauren Livermore - 2 PBs and 2 Silver Speed Awards
Jimmy Mills - 1 PB
Jack O'Gorman - 3 PBs and 1 Club Record (16 Years 200m Breast)
Ryan Osbourn - 1 PB and 1 County Time (50m Free)
Max Patten - 4 PBs, 1 Silver Speed Award, 3 Club Records (10 Years 50 & 100m Free and 100 Back) and 1 County Time (200m IM)
