...And are we proud of how all our swimmers finished!
The first week of the Essex County Championships 2026 has been an outstanding success, delivering exceptional performances and results across the board.

Our swimmers demonstrated excellent preparation, focus, and determination throughout the competition, resulting in amazing achievements:
4 Finalists
4 Medals
2 New Relay Teams introduced
1 Regionals Qualifier

Reaching four finals at county level is a significant accomplishment and highlights the continued development and rising standard of our squad.

Each finalist showed tremendous composure, race awareness, and resilience under pressure, delivering strong, competitive swims.

Securing four medals is a fantastic reward for the consistent hard work and commitment shown in training. These podium finishes reflect not only individual talent, but also the collective effort of the entire coaching team and squad.

We were also proud to introduce two brand new relay teams, providing valuable race experience and strengthening our team depth. Both relays performed with great unity, enthusiasm, and team spirit, setting strong foundations for future competitions.

A special mention goes to one swimmer who achieved a regional qualification time, an exceptional achievement and a true reflection of their dedication, consistency, and outstanding performance at county level. Isabella Clogg.

Overall, Week 1 has set a very high standard for the remainder of the championships. The results achieved are a testament to the dedication, discipline, and positive attitude shown by all swimmers.

Congratulations to everyone involved — swimmers, coaches, and supporting families — on a truly impressive start to the championships.

We look forward to building on this momentum in Week 2.
