Comic Relief 2013 - Fundraising

Thursday 14th March saw our swimmers participate in an evening of Water Aerobics ( of sorts ! ), Synchronised Swimming display ( kind of ! ) and general fun and games in aid of Comic Relief 2013.

As usual the unofficial club anthem "Gangnam Style" featured multiple times with Senior Squad swimmers encouraging the Junior Squad to follow their lead from the poolside! 

Coach David's penalty for not wearing Red for the event was to wear a Rudolph Onesie for the 2 sessions, which due to the heat in the pool and from all the exercise from our swimmers resulted in a very sorry looking Rudolph by the end of the evening.

Donations on the night totalled £79.50, so thank you very much for all those who joined in, especially David, George and Alex who hosted the evening.

We also held a Jessie J Sweepstake. The chosen "hairdo" after she had her head shaved was the "Red Pompadour" which was chosen by Chris Earl. As we only managed to fill in 18 of the 30 Sweepstake entries รป Chris wins £18 and the remaining money also goes to Comic Relief.
