WELFARE

Here at Stanway Swim Club we want time spent with us to enjoyable and fun. The Welfare Officer is available to the swimmer, parent/carer or member to talk to.

The Welfare Officer is there for all children under the age of 18 and makes the needs of these swimmers a priority. Wavepower 2024 also extends the scope of the Welfare officer's role to all members of Stanway SC. If any swimmer or member has concerns about themselves or any other swimmer, how they are being treated or something that makes them unhappy then please speak to the welfare officer.

Our Welfare Officer can be contacted at [email protected]

We take the safety of our swimmers very seriously. Parents who go on poolside with swimmers at Galas / Open Meets are required to be DBS checked. Anyone poolside should be a coach or TM trained with DBS & safeguarding

If you have any concerns about the safety of your children please feel free to speak to any of the Committee (anyone you feel comfortable talking to).
